Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, our efforts have largely focused on emergency assistance. Through local churches and trusted contacts, we know where the needs are highest. This makes it possible to help quickly and in a targeted manner. Not from a distance, but close to people who live under harsh conditions.
We believe that aid goes beyond goods. Attention, closeness and hope are just as important. That's why we're regularly on location ourselves, listening to stories and staying involved with the people we support.
The name Metadidomy comes from Luke 3:11 and means: “share what you have.” From this assignment, our foundation was created in 2007. What started as support for small-scale projects grew into a foundation that can provide help in several places, both practically and mentally.

Our way of working is simple and consciously designed to make help arrive as immediately as possible. We work with the Evangelical Christian Baptist Union and its local churches. They know the people, the regions and the situation on the ground. Thanks to this network, we can tailor help to what is really needed, exactly where the need is greatest.
Where possible, we purchase relief supplies locally. If that is not possible, goods are delivered from the Netherlands and transported directly. We work with short lines of communication, few interlayers and a lot of volunteers. As a result, organizational costs remain low and almost every euro goes directly to help.
Transparency is important to us. That's why we regularly share updates, stories, and images of our work. This is how we show what happens to the support received and what impact it has on families and communities.
