Their own stove at home. It works without electricity or gas, keeping the house warm no matter what happens.
Many homes have been damaged by airstrikes and are poorly insulated. Power outages are frequent, and gas is regularly shut off. In winter, temperatures drop to minus twenty degrees. Without their own stove, it becomes dangerous.
We purchase the stoves within Ukraine. The firewood is harvested in collaboration with the Pulyn municipality (Zhytomyr) and transported to affected areas. Through a network of evangelical Baptist churches, volunteers deliver and install the stoves.
The Metadidomi Foundation works in partnership with local churches in Ukraine. They know who is in the greatest need, so your donation goes directly to families facing the winter without heating. With a stove and firewood, we provide them with warmth and hope.
