Thanks to a campaign by students from CSG Prince Maurits, an amount of €5,500 was raised for families in Ukraine. With this proceeds, Christmas packages could be put together and distributed to widows of fallen soldiers. The campaign shows how involved young people in the Netherlands are in the fate of people living in a country that has been affected by war for years.
The Christmas packages were distributed through army preacher Viktor and local churches. For many families, this was not only a package of food and practical products, but also a sign that they are not being forgotten. For widows and families who have lost a loved one, such a moment of attention and encounter often means a lot.
We would like to sincerely thank the students and stakeholders of CSG Prince Maurits for their efforts and involvement. Thanks to their action, dozens of families were helped.
