This month Metadidomi distributed approximately 200,000 kg of food among 5,000 Ukrainian families. Food remains the biggest need in the areas where we are active. Thanks to the cooperation with partner organisations and local churches, this enormous amount could be distributed.
Spring has begun and the first vegetable gardens are being sown. Thanks to the seed and seed-potato campaign, thousands of families can start growing their own food again this year.
In addition, shoes, warm and summer clothing were also delivered in Kherson and surrounding areas. A local volunteer tells us: ‘Every time we come, there are queues of people, because the need is huge. Your help matters.’
