The new year has only just begun, and already four trucks with generators and canned goods have gone to Ukraine. This time in cooperation with the Zeeland Helps Ukraine foundation and René Schouten from Elspeet, who took the supplies there himself by his own transport. Below is also the generator donated by Athora, through Van Dorp Installaties, destined for the children's hospital in Zhytomyr.
A team of doctors from the Ukrainian Children Cardiac Center was given two mobile power banks and three trauma kits. This team organises missions close to the front line to provide on-site medical and first aid to people there.
During a journey through Ukraine, Evert van Dijke delivered electric hotplates donated by ATAG Netherlands. We were also able to donate many laparoscopic medical instruments to the regional hospital in Zhytomyr via ADRZ in Goes. And through the beautiful initiative of AnnaZorgt from Sint-Annaland, we were able to distribute much hand-knitted clothing to the people of Ukraine.
The distribution of relief supplies continues unabated. This month, several more shipments were delivered in Kherson, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia, including plenty of food, hygiene products, wood stoves and generators. So much help is still needed — the photos speak for themselves.
