In July, Metadidomi helped organise a summer camp for children from the front-line areas. A week of rest, games, songs and attention, away from the sounds of war. For many of them, this is an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives.
We were also active in Kyiv, where the Ochmatdyt children's hospital was damaged by a rocket attack. Metadidomi delivered emergency medical supplies and financial support so that the hospital could continue to function and children could still receive the necessary care.
The cooperation with local churches of the Evangelical Baptist Union remains the foundation of our work. Their volunteers know the local situation and ensure that aid reaches people most in need.
