In the past month, five thousand families were helped to plant their vegetable garden. They received seed potatoes, onion sets and high-quality vegetable seeds. There was great gratitude among the population. This campaign has been another important success and we hope and pray for a good harvest so that many families can have their own food this winter.
The project “1,000 tons of food” has also been completed. The last trucks were distributed to local churches in April. We received grateful responses from various regions. Life is expensive and hard, especially closer to the front, where there is little work and mainly the elderly and vulnerable are left behind. Food aid makes it possible to still provide for daily living.
