In the past month, many people have been helped again. Thanks to your financial support, we were able to distribute food packages to vulnerable families. This happened from the churches in the provinces of Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Zaporizhja. Many of these places are under constant drone and artillery fire. People often have a very difficult time and the church still tries to lend a practical helping hand in these ways. Many potatoes and onions were also donated by the Ukrainians themselves, who participated in the seed and seed project earlier this year.
We have also distributed a lot of firewood, which is also very necessary in the run-up to the coming winter. Given the increasingly deteriorating electricity supply, many people have become dependent on firewood. And that is certainly not available everywhere in those areas.
In addition, through Piet Pietjouw of the Bravis hospital, we were allowed to receive seventy hospital beds and seventy-seven bedside tables via the Van Weel-Bethesda hospital. The first beds have now been repurposed in regional hospitals in the province of Zhytomyr. This concretely supports healthcare, which has been under severe pressure for a long time.
We would like to thank everyone who makes our work possible. At the same time, the need remains great. With every donation, we ensure that help ends up where it is most needed.
