"Another year is almost over, and summer has passed. We live day by day. But we are very worried about the coming winter. The fifth winter of the war. With the previous winter still fresh in our memory and the difficult news reports, we want to prepare as best we can."
This is an excerpt from a letter we received from Ukraine. It says it all: summer is ending, and what follows is a harsh season.
Firewood. Stoves. Food. Warmth. Families can do a lot themselves, but they also need a lot from us. The first truckload of firewood has already been delivered. But we want to do more.
Don't wait until winter arrives. You can help now. Soon, we will be busy following the news (just like last year) and feeling like we are acting too late.
