This month, we once again received many photos from Ukraine of families gratefully using the seeds and seedlings distributed this spring. The project continues to grow each year, demonstrating once again what a difference a relatively small contribution can make. By the end of summer, we hope for another bountiful harvest. This will enable over 5,000 families to build up food supplies for the coming winter. As in previous years, we expect many families will not only be able to harvest for themselves but also help relatives, neighbors, and other vulnerable people with a portion of their yield.

Despite the summer temperatures, many Ukrainians are looking ahead to the coming winter with concern. Ongoing drone and missile attacks maintain high uncertainty, especially as energy and infrastructure are frequent targets. That's why we have now started preparations for the firewood project. Our goal is to provide 1,000 families with enough firewood this autumn. Last winter, it became clear once again how important a warm home is for families facing power outages and extreme cold.
To make this possible, an amount of € 50.000 is needed. We hope for your continued involvement and support this year to provide as many families as possible with a warm winter.

Summer camps are once again taking place at various locations in Ukraine this summer. Many children participating have lost a father or brother due to the war. These camps provide space for relaxation, connection, and encouragement. In the coming period, we hope to share more photos and stories from these camps with you.

We are grateful for all the support we continue to receive. Thanks to churches, schools, private initiatives, and all donors, we can continue this work. Together, we make a difference for families living daily with the consequences of war.
